If you have a fine file, some wet and dry, a small piece of plastic and some moly grease.....zero! Just a couple of hours of time.

    I am thinking about buying a 99 in 177.
Having heard about the galling issue and how easy it is to correct I thought I would see if I could find a "how to" video on Youtube but I can't see any. Am I not putting the right words in my search (galling fix on a hw99) or are there no videos to guide me through the process?

If you get one and bring it with you to the Bash,Tony will show you how, I will be watching as well,
I have a 99s and have had zero issues regarding any galling.
They are a nice performing gun ,my one is in .22.

Morning pigeonfan. This may help: Member Davecook has been trying to reply to your p-m regarding your enquiry about the HW95K that he currently has listed in the for sale section, but as your p-m box is full he can't, so maybe you could delete a few messages to make space, and then contact him once done?

    Thanks Les,
If I do buy one that's exactly what I'll do if Tony doesn't mind.

Looks like the 99 is going to be on the wish list for a little while longer. I've just come back from a check up at the dentist and need work doing that's going to be pennies short of £240.
