What can I say about today’s shoot except that the course was set by a sadist who must have had a toothache. It really was a hard one as can be seen by the lower than average scores. Even the “left hand” team were saying that the target set deliberately to be “left hand friendly” was a nightmare. It was however quite funny watching Peter Fenn lying down with a foot just about on the peg, trying to draw a bead on the kill.
Apart from that there were targets which were tricky to range and others that required a lot of thought. To try and keep away from the worst of the mud a couple of the pegs had more than one target on them which really seemed to shake things up.
All in all, a nice pleasant club shoot, more so because the rain held off. So on to the scores.
