Time for an afternoon BOING folks

I had a BLATT with my LP10 this morning down the club and finished of with a quick zero of my .22 HW99 at 25M with H&N FTT's

First couple of shots were a bit low, but a few clicks up on the 'scope saw the shots somewhere near the middle

    BOING and up we go

I am massive fan of curtains, however Dave has the most metrosexual curtains I've ever seen.

I think it's a bit like pampas grass in the seventies.

With how many tents the bongos have presently in our field it looks remarkably like the hollow.

I'd like to try a .22 HW45 and compare it to my unfettled .177, just to see if the felt recoil and general feel on firing is much different. Most of the time I use mine on full power mode and get a bit of smoke ejaculating from the barrel ..... if I fancy some lower power plinking I choose either the HW40 or HW75....and as nice as they are to shoot, they're just a bit 'lifeless' compared to the 45

Baton down the hatches chaps, thunder and lightning approaching across the channel

Yes, like you say, the SSP HWs are so easy to shoot accurately, whereas the 45 demands the ultimate respect and consistency of technique. Character by the JCB- scoop load, though!

Remind me closer to Bash time and I'll bring my .22.

    Yep!

And I plan to get a .177 one day.

There are only two guns that I sold that I regret selling. One was a '35, but I part exchanged it for an '80 in the early 80s, so not that bad a move and I've got five 35s now.

And a .177 HW45. Sold in the early 90s; really can't remember why, but I always regretted having to let that go.

    Boingtastic chaps

Most excellent boingerism from the Boingerati collective

I've never been so bongerised on Boing Holiday Sunday, other than when I tested the boingy suspension in my old Mk3 Cortina with Dorty Doris for half a lager and a Marlboro
