I’m gonna start looking around theForest of Dean and Dorset areas over the coming weeks for home but I will take my time.

Yesterday I cleared my desk and vacated my office for the ‘new people’ taking over my team on Monday so I’m now on gardening leave for the next 4 or 5 weeks until they sort out my pension and severance quotes. Apart from a couple of Appeals they want me to do next Friday, that’s it pretty much and I’ll be free of work
Sounds like a most lovely chilling sesh in the garden matey.

And you're so much very nearlier, nearly there with full time Boingering Chillin'.

    Nice one, matey.

Cheers Tone, not long now. I’m going to The Forest of Dean for a couple of days on Monday but it’s mainly to go over to a ladies farm to sort some naughty crows from nicking her hens eggs. And there’s me saying I’ll never have to work again eh ? a

I did spot quite a few what I'd imagine to be very tidy little bushes last night, Pauly.

Wouldn't have minded an investigation or two!

I've had a look on egay! They do some great little setups for around £20 -£30 and I reckon i'll have to invest I'll ping a link over to the curtain chap and see if he fancies the same one. Its amazing the power of some of them on there when you spend serious dollar. There was one that can hold up to 500kg for around 150 quid. The only drawback being youd need around ten people to drag it up with a loaded bank safe on the end

For the hours of fun you get out of them I reckon it’s great value. Maybe we should invest in the 500kg one cos that ‘one that got away’ is bugging me:

    Just for you Mike

Excellent!!! I love the goonies lol. It sure would be interesting to know what that was on the magnet at the bridge. With three magnets between us I reckon we would have had that no problem. I've done a bit of youtube research on the magnet fishing and its amazing the interesting stuff people pull out of the canals. Great fun!!

Glad you liked it mate. To be honest, I think what I got onto was probably snagging the magnet/line as opposed to magnetised to it ?? That’s where the grappling hook comes in handy

Paul, you will discover that when you do finally retire from full time employment, you will have TWICE the amount of work on your hands...trust me on this, I did !
