    Rutten Winstar

Did you know that some Rutten Winstar air rifles could produce velocities close to the sound barrier due to a double spring?

I read about the design being powered by both actions, open and closing, of the lever? But never heard any good things about them. I still have my push button electric, need to charge the battery for spring.

How about their green Teflon pellets?

Nearly lost a finger working on Winstar double cocking mechanism trying to sort trigger mechanism. Lever slammed down on my hand. Mate shot hole in his front door with self firing rifle.

Hadn't realised they made some conventional break-barrels as well as the wacky fixed barrel guns and the huge Webley type pistol. Interesting. Thanks.
