Got a new R2A Ballistic Chronograph, how do I work it?

    Hi Guys,

I bought a new R2A Ballistic Chronograph from Blackpool guns, it came today. Does anybody know how to use it?

When I talked to the shop on the phone, they didn't have time to talk to me and wouldn't even take my order over the phone as they were busy dealing with customers (so I wasn't a customer on the phone?)

I really don't feel like ringing them again as I don't feel they give good customer help, and I had a poor outcome from a previous call. I now have this R2A Ballistic Chronograph and it has extremely bad instructions. It's full of letters that are not explained.

I am a total beginner when it comes to Chronographs and I think this one is meant for people that understand the abbreviations. There is also a setting to calibrate the sensor distance, but no instructions to calibrate it??

The shop told me it was really easy to work, but failed to tell me it had very bad instructions!
    I'm confused.

    Thank you for that

I only got half of that in the box, so that's why I was having some issues. Some of the abbreviations are still not fully explained.

I've now used it and getting some results, so I guess the rest will work it's self out over time

    Many thanks for your help.

PF (power factor) what does this mean?
    DV Absolute velocity meaning?
    SV Standard deviation meaning?
    RPS?
    NR?

To name some I have found.

It would have been nice to have a chart of all the abbreviations, what they stand for and what they mean.
That would be very helpful for somebody like me.
Once I know, I'll right it all down myself.

Well lit place or will read slow, led lighting wont cure either.
If getting spurious or stupids high or low readings move muzzle further back, some require at least 7-9".
    Switch it to low sensitivity.

Batterys wont last long will need a supply.
