    Airsporter S Trigger Adjustment ?

I'm sure its very simple but before I begin to tweek the trigger, what is the correct procedure to 'improve the feel' of the trigger pull presumably by turning the small grub screw in front of the trigger ?
Thought I'd better consult the "Gentleman's Collective" before I inadvertedly send tiny springs, screws and widgets catapulting into oblivion !

Hi Blackrider, screw to the rear of the trigger guard controls sear engagement, clockwise to reduce, screw at the front is trigger weight. Clockwise to increase. Warning!, be careful, they soon become unprectable and can go off on their own

If you remove the stock (2 forward screws and a screw/bolt through the pistol grip) you can see that workings and action of the sears and adjusting springs. You can also set the trigger without cocking the mainspring.

Yep, that's what I used to do with my old Mercury.

    Have fun twiddling, John.

    Yup, certainly will Tone !

    I'm lovin shooting this A'sporter S !
Its got to be the nicest Airsporter I've ever shot apart from my .22 RB2 Carbine.
Tried eleven various pellet types so far and up to now it shows a preference to F&TT 5.53 with 5.55's a close second.

Glad to hear you're loving it, John.

An Airsporter is still on my "must get" list.

And, most definitely, a Lincoln Jeffries / BSA pre-war underlever. One day, one day.......

Personally I'd go for the later RB2's but this 'S' type is very good for shootability and the big barrel looks stunning !
