    Bsa lightening grt vs Springer

I remember seeing an article on the above but for the life of me I can't remember how they rated the gas ram.
Looks like a very nice rifle.
Also I remember someone on here saying it was a poor man's fenman.
    Cheers
This is the crisis I knew had to come, Distroying the balance Id kept.
Turning around to the next set of lives, Wondering what will come next .

As I recall, there was no noticeable difference between the two , other than the gas ram has grt on the stock. Beautifully crafted stock , I opted for the spring version in .22 . Excellent piece of kit , but trigger can be heavy, but very smooth. It's a true carbine and light to handle. Add a heavy scope and it's a very accurate piece of kit.

I remember the article and yes, the reviewer could not decide either way. Myself, I ended up getting a GRT XL SE in .22 to start with then a few months later the spring version SE.

After a lot of use on inside/outside ranges and fields and barns etc I have come to the conclusion that I prefer the GRT. It has better accuracy imo, a better trigger somehow, and is smoother to shoot mechanically and also quieter. The only downside was that although the stock on the GRT SE is lovely I found it to be a bit too chunky so I changed the stocks over.

Probably Airgun Shooter - he edited it until a couple of years ago.
