Walther Lgv Top Hat / Piston Question?

    Hi All

My LGV suddenly developed a twang so took it apart to find the top hat guide had broken leaving the rim and part of the hat up in the piston and the guide that sleeves the piston loose, managed to fish that part out ok but am unable to retrieve the "upper part".

Do I need to knock out the pin in the piston to open it all up and get to the top hat to fit the new one or am I just going to have to fish the bloody thing out somehow as it isn't coming out regardless of all the poking shaking and swearing so far employed

    thanks

go fishing, the pistons don't come apart that easily. An air blast may help.
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Probably just stuck to the end of the piston by caked grease. Try soaking it in a tub of solvent for a while.
