Scope Levelling with Rubber Bands and Pencils

Came across this on youtube, aside from a father using his daughter to get lots of views it has a really cheap and effective way to level a scope, fast forward to 21:00.

I don’t bother I use my iPhone spirit level test fit the scope to get the correct eye relief, gently tighten the mounts, put the phone on the bottom half of the mounts and level the rifle, then fit the scope using the phone as a level, gently tighten everything making sure it’s to your needs, then a final tighten, works well for me,used this method a lot swapping mounts around on my springers

Ensure the gun is level across the top of the breech, THEN align the scope crosshair vertically with a plumb bob.

Scope levelling aside, I find the vid a bit creepy. Using your daughter knowingly in ‘suggestive’ positions like that just don’t seem right to me. I’m no fuddy duddy by any means but.... ?
