    can anyone help with thread resurection ? the mystery of the hw35

    whilst hunting about on the internet for info on the hw35 i have found an old thread In the bbs archive called tge mystery of the hw35.
    there are some links to an article by gerald cardew i would like to see if poss.
    having sold my problem child 35 last year i have decided to give the hw35 another chance when the chance of another cheap one had turned up .

    Trying hard to keep it down to 10 rifles.

    I gave the O ring piston head to Mark/CapitalBee so he could sort his 35 out, but he may still have it kicking around.

    That other 35 you converted the piston on just wouldn't group even at 10 yards i tried everything but a new barrel.
    in the end i sold it with full dissclosure on what i had done for much less than it would of fetched in Parts i had spent £40 on new bits myself.

    the new one coming next week is a 1990 one bit taty but had had the barrel shortened by tinbum and kit fitted apparently it groups well.

    I've just dug out the brass piston tool for resealing the breech braze. If it's needed I'll send it to DGF, or I can bring it with me for you Mick, when I come to the bash.
