    Northern Shooting Show

It's on this weekend at Harrogate, anybody going ?
We've been since it started 2 years ago and although there are very few show specials to be had , it's a great day out .
As usual at these events the food is sold at massively inflated prices .
However as far as shooting goes , there's something for everybody .

Thought about it today but I'm not chasing anything at present so there's no great urge.
    May go tomorrow ?

I went today for the first time. Me and the misses made a weekend of it, we arrived at a lovely b&b yesterday and we go home tomorrow. My only purchase was a sleeve of air arms diablo that’s only because there wasn’t a Daystate pulsar in laminate to be had. All in all an enjoyable day.

Just got back and going again tomorrow to watch the HFT shooters and cheer on (quietly) the Rivi lads (lads???)

    Met a few old friends.

Had a good look at the Tesro range of pistols and had a hold of the new Walther LP500. Decisions, decisions.

Spent a long time there yesterday and some money .
Not quite as busy as previous years , with a few names missing and other retailers sharing a stand .
Have a look at the Ronnie Sunshine / Kral stand , excellent prices .
    Here what I bought

    For £349 I think it's worth a look .
Some bargains around with a few discounts available .
G and T were doing swift stumpy silencers for £40 and some nice Konus scopes.

Good, felt quieter this year. I think the poor weather forecast for Sunday put people off. Didn’t get the nitesite illuminator I was after owing to their office fire but I did walk away with my firearms licence

Yesterday's attendance was just over 2000 up on the Saturday of last year's show.

I was with the organisors when the figures came in.

    Just sayin'.

If that 'poor weather' roll on winter.

Did anyone else see the Hawker Hurricane fly over on Saturday mid afternoon (or do I need to reduce my medication)?

Id be interested to have a go with that Alan, considering range right are in Harrogate I was disappointed that they weren't there last couple of years. I missed this year as I'm still struggling in busy places since my op and my son was revising. Glad it's still busy.
