Has anyone had a Hy-Score apart please?

There's a guy on the American Vintage Airguns forum who has one in bits and needs an explanation of how the breech shutter mechanism works. Baz?

Danny they are very simple to strip and assemble. Once you have lifted out the circlip under the cap the whole back section can be removed, and it is very easy to put back in place. Not having one here I cannot take any pics showing the few parts involved.

Springing the grip was terrifying :-) Especially as not my pistol.
The repeater mechanism is pure genius.

I'm pretty sure the American Vintage question was related to getting the rear cap to assemble with the circular spring and shutter. It was a puzzle to me the first time I had to put one together, and it seemed a small miracle that eventually the spring landed in the right place to open & close the shutter properly. Mark's response over there was concise and fully informative; there should soon be one more Hy-Score spitting out pellets!
