I'd like one too.
My copy of March 1985 SAR had a mini-review, annoyingly short on detail, but clear that it came close, in .22", to 12 ft-lbs with Hobbys. Worryingly, "Prometheus gave the best accuracy" (group size not specified).

It’s a bit off topic, but what is the stock on your Ultra? It makes the rifle look a lot more classy than the original stock.
Hi, yes I agree, I love this stock. It's actually a BSA Techstar. It was designed by John Bowkett for the US market. The importer Compasseco (now Pyramid Air) wanted an entry level high power pcp with open sights.
It was also named the Tech Star, Stinger, Westerner. Apparently the Americans didn't like the simple stock. But those who bought one, usually find it their best airgun. I love it.
The stock is based on the Lightning/Spitfire stock. They aren't for sale anywhere. But I am thinking of replicating a few.
Cheers, Louis
Ps. Mine does not have the opens mounted on the photo because then you can't use a scope.
Here's a nice little report about the gun by Tom Gaylord "BB Pelletier":

I wonder if Bowkett would take a stock Meteor and tune it today?
If all you want is a full power meteor, it's easy enough

Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
