    In my Protektor bags, I used 110 grade silica sand.

    Back in my bench rest days I was advised to use a special sand, can't remember the name but it was heavier than the normal stuff and black in colour.
    Remember, it is the strongest character that God gives the most challenges.

    packing?

    I have no interest or knowledge on bench rest, BUT back when I used to shoot 3 positional, we stuffed the kneeling rolls with bird seed.

    I used dried Silver sand in mine and it's been fine from day one.
