    Kempton Park 30 Sept 2018

I have attached a few snaps from today's event. Another record number of airguns on show; where else could you find a rack full of Giffards for example?

There was a huge variety of airguns on show and it was a great pleasure to meet up with collectors I have corresponded with on line but never met face to face before.

I have attached some highlights from the fair below.

A huge thank you to Peter and Liz Binfield and their hard working team - another classic and successful event to spoil us.

Thanks to Pete ,Liz, and all the team for another fab show.

I have never seen so many desirable airguns in one place before. Had a great time as usual (think - kid in a candy store!) and came away with some nice things .

    What more can you ask?

    Roll on the next one.....

My second. Won't be my last.

Thanks Binners. Good to see you. Already tinkering with the sidelever trying to trace a strip down guide here on the site. Fantastic show, well done (I sound like a school report).

Also: hope you do well on the charity fund raising. Such a good idea.

Hi John and Jo: I think I spotted 8 Giffard rifles in Keith's rack. Just beautiful. Plus more dotted around. What do you think the right collective plural term is in this instance? Is it A feast of Giffards!

Good question. I think Feast sums it up quite well. Today was a Fest in many ways!

    Kind regards,

I assume that was a double rather than a single spring clip webley.

Yes indeed. A refinished pistol, sadly.

indeed & it is another very nice example to my collection that will see regular use, Always fancied the sporter version over the Target one, more compact and nicer handling (in my opinion), ran a few pellets through it when I got home and it settled very nicely.

Many thanks to Peter and Liz for putting on a great and well organised show. this show in my oppinon beats the Brum one by having a lot more space to get around and lots of airguns. this was my first time at Kempton. l sold a few of my collection which have gone to new homes. hope the new owners enjoy them as much as l have over the years. nice to meet some new collectors to me anyway, and having a old good chat the time just flew by. sadly no new airguns came home with me.
