    Aa s200

    Hi all

Thinking of purchasing an Air Arms S200 in .177. Will be using it on the range. Any opinions on them?

    Thank you

    Robert

Yes, bloody excellent Although for the range, shot count is a bit low in standard form, all my S200, s have been used for hunting.

By on the range, do you mean full power or shorter range target shooting?

The AA/CZ T200 target version is around 5.5 ft.lb, has a lower fill pressure and a reasonable shot count. The earlier Mk 2 version has a two piece stock, accessory rail under the fore end (for rifle rest), adjustable cheek piece and butt pad. It has the benefit of a gauge on the end of the cylinder, however the cylinder needs to be removed from the rifle to charge it.

Go the whole hog and go for S400. British made and all metal action.
    Just saying.

Thanks for the replies. I’d be looking for full power. It’s a local outdoor range range with knockover targets. I will also look at the S400’s.

Hi pelletcaster, how do you get rid of the banner that obscures the picture of the rifle please, I do not read German.
    Thank you.

I like the cz/ AA 200. I also have the green adjustable stock model. Easy to work on, easy to tinker with and enjoy. One minute mine is hunting, then shooting off the bench, plus I use it for F.T. Great little 'flexible' and accurate gun.
I sold my AA 400 because the S200 works better for me.

Try one, you will be impressed.

Where did you guys get your Greens from? I see Balistas and AFG-defense sell them at 16J, is there anywhere else I should be looking or are they my best bet?

Or even better, does anyone actually sell them here?

I recently was given a mk2 by a mate -it did have a few issues to sort which I have now sorted
I also converted it to .20 and made a few brass and aluminium bits to replace plastic parts -just wish I had time to test it now
