    Shooting airguns, a simple pleasure.

T'lad hasn't picked up a rifle of any description for a couple of years now. Despite temptation I kept his hw99s in storage, hoping that one day he'd come back to it.

Yesterday afternoon he wanted a plink in the garden so, a balmy sunny afternoon and a few reactive targets on the grass and away we went.

Best fun was one I bought a couple of years ago which has never been used. A bit like a big wheel it has discs which flip over when hit. As they flip over the point of balance adjusts causing it to rotate and then swing like a pendulum. Effectively you end up shooting moving targets. Speed shooting a pair of break barrels to win by either getting them all up or down got a bit competitive. I won't reveal who won, but it was a lot of fun.

Very therapeutic, but my left arm aches like buggery this morning.
