BSA R10 Mk11 Super Carbine leak and John Bowkett Tune

My 3-4 year old BSA developed an air leak recently.
rather than look at a reg change and strip/re build
I opted to get John Bowkett to do his Blueprint and bolt mod,

the Rifle was always as I thought accurate
but upon return the difference is night and day.

bolt action precise accuracy first class I am over the moon with the gun again and it is perfect for my use with Rats and rabbits.

the total cost was £230 for the work and as a reg is nigh on £100 I think great VFM.

just waiting on some more pellets as I have bisley and the proof sheet John supplied showed JSB heavy even more accurate

Well done on getting it sorted by JB.

Apart from anything else, it’s great to have the designer of the rifle do this work.

He did the full monty to my 2014 .177 MK2 R10 - I can’t tell you how fantastic it is now.
I bought it from new and whilst it was very good, I decided at the time for a service to send it off to John to do the business.

John is a lovely man - we keep in regular touch and always have a laugh when we chat.
