    Anshutz 250 Match Air rifle

Hi can any one give me a Valuation please !

Bought my Anshutz New in 1979 TLC trading company in Charing Cross W1.. I do not recall ever shooting it .

A few years ago i found a hairline split in the pistol grip. The metal work is almost new

I have taken it to Woodies in Wembley for a Full service and told that the stock would also be repaired

It will soon i hope be offered for sale

These rifles have a good history, their accuracy is acknowledged among the target shooters.

The stock is rather plain and has the original varnish.

Theres a gnarly one on guntrader for £145, another nice one went for £350 but it was for sale for 6 months... so I think yours is worth about £235.

People are scared of the hydraulics, but not terrified.

Here is a good resource on this elegant Anschutz -

I paid £170 for mine recently. Original sights complete, no cracks in stock, but needing new seals
So assuming seals are good, I would agree with a bit over £200.

Be aware that the crack in the stock will put off some buyers, as this is a common symptom of leaking hydraulics

This one I re-sealed was selling for £250, not sure if the owner got the full asking price. They are not bad to work on as the whole complex trigger unit comes off in one assembled unit. Think I still have two of the special seals for the hydraulic cylinder.

One of the members of my club has one.

Problem with cocking it, the lever goes all the way back , but would not close, upon investigation, there is a metal bar undeneath that had broken and prevented the lever going back.

Any ideas if spares are still available?
