The best I've found so far, for a PCP, Is the A&M Marksman.

    All of the above.

So have I, but a bog standard HW .22 mod was actually quieter when I used one.

OP, there's very little in it, different mods can work slightly better or worse on different rifles, I think your AA400 will need an adaptor whatever you choose, I'd always start with the HW regardless of rifle.

I've fitted the logun moderator off my s410. But will look at the above moderators to try. Got a atec wave and swift stumpy to try as well.

The AA Q-TEC is excellent, but expensive, the HW mod is also excellent, all you need imo

    Its individual.
Swap mods and one gun can sound quieter.
You think the mod is better.
Swap again and the mod you thought was the best on one gun suddenly isnt as good as the other mod you tried.
Its like pellets...till you try a few you wont know.
How quiet doesnit REALLY have to be when the smack.of impact is louder than the shot?
You alsonget a disproportionate amount of action noise by your earole.
20nyards away....you may hear sweet FA.
As a bench mark...I tend to look at HW. Simple ane effective and reasonably priced
Lots of option but just because it cost cost a ransom and isnwrapp3d in ermin wont makenitnqieter than another model
In a battle of wits I refuse to engage with an unarmed person.

Standard Huggett on my S510, Weihrauch on my HW100FSB. The Weihrauch setup is quiet but the 510/Huggett combination is much, much quieter. The pellet strike is the loudest part, followed by the click of the hammer. Doubtless others will have different experiences, but I’d go for a Huggett any day. And they’re beautiful with it.

I have the Belita on the bobcat....the mamba on the FAC RWS 500..... (the Huggetts are purely for looks on these two guns)....the marksman sitting in the gun cabinet that gets used occasionally on the FAC....for an off the shelf silencer I have always been impressed with the deben whisper.
