Don’t forget though lads, the people who run forums, more often than not, do so in their own time, outside of a full time job and family life. It is a job I am not envious of at the best of times, never mind when it goes thrupnies up...

I hope they manage to get it back up, it is a great font of knowledge on the gun, and also another great forum, and nobody in our sport should want to lose one of those, even if you don’t like the rapid.

As Andy says above , we're not full time on it , although it sometimes feels that way. Anyway, an update . The servers used for the forum are in the USA so Phil has not had the best of times trying to sort this . We were told eventually that the forum was backed up until the 28th may which was good news . However after a bit more communication with them that seems to have been false information and they haven't backed it up and we may well have lost 7 years worth of content. Where this leaves us is still uncertain , Phil is trying a few more alternative routes over the next few days so fingers crossed we can get a bit more back . At the minute it's not looking to good.
An update on the gun build too , Steven has completed the stock and will be sent down to bucket boy next week to set up . We will have to decide what happens then when we find out about the forum.

This is the big prob with free forums nothing’s backed up truely if it’s lost it’s lost nothing will recover the data on free forums this is where cost for server space comes in to it’s own when paying for premium forums and data back up tech advisors/ specialist would if been sorted in a day or two

Whilst the loss of all that info is devastating I'm sure between us we can piece most of it back together.

I still have most of the thread size info and all of my CAD designs.

The woodwork opens and all come crawling out . The thread is active to keep present members informed of what's going on in an unfortunate situation. Admin / mods I'd be grateful it could remain that way .

Phil is going to reactivate this week , with limited access, to find out what has disappeared. It's not just the content disappearing , which I'm sure would be reposted by the lads , it would also mean that anyone who has joined in the last 7 year will probably have to rejoin too. Proper disaster this one

Sounds a serious set back all round, certainly is for tech info if 7 years worth has been lost best of luck to those working on it.
