Help required

A pal of mine is looking for a part to complete a project. Mercury challenger cocking arm. I believe there was 3 types, the particular variant he is after splits on the end to form the foot that engages with the piston. Does anyone know where he might locate said component? I realise it’s a long shot but I promised I would ask the great and the good on BBS! Thanks

Wider help advice may be required. I’m no expert on bsa mercury challenger. so can’t tell what part will fit as a replacement. Here are a few picks of the broken cocking arm. Perhaps someone can tell me (on behalf of my friend) which cocking arm will work as a replacement.

Yes looks like an improved replacement for your type. I also need that one as I have a complete Mercury minus this. I balked at the price so may make one.
