    Well gents.
Took the board of (3 screws) but didn't unplug anything as could get at the solder joints ok.

    Cleaned then fluxed and soldered.

Refitted into stock, charger plugged in, now the charger as stayed green but it beeped and flashing in action, the batteries were new so this could mean they are fully charged?
Does this sound right?? Reg. john

Normally the batteries will have a good amount if charge in them, I was able to use mine as soon as the batteries were fitted and action back in stock, After me putting a mag through it I then put it on charge for a full charge ,
If I remember rightly the beep was a connection confirmation and the green flashing were that batteries are charging,

It would have been better if you had disconnected the battery board when you soldered, but it should be OK, as for charging on my Mk4 the DS charger doesn't have any lights, but then i have the information screen, but AFAIK the safety indicator light should flash when its charging, best to leave it for 24hrs and then try it.

    Well gents,still no joy.
Have had it on charge all night and not a spark, used a different charger turned red on charger when plugged in rifle beeped twice and little yellow light is blinking on/of all the time.
(Don't know if this is normal?
The batteries have not been used but are 2/3 years old to my knowledge, they are firm on the fixture positive to bottom.
    The wireing looks good.
Still can't get into Daystateowners ?????
    Any ideas ?????😢 John

Do you have a multimeter to hand, Its going to be the fist place to start from , To see exactly what's the voltage on the batteries.

Just a thought, but if you had no keys with the gun is the main isolation switch(key operated underneath forward end of the trigger guard) in the off position? I only ask because this is must be switched off before charging the gun. If the switch is off the gun will charge ( 2 beeps blinking light in the safety) but will not function when charged untill the switch is moved to on.

Sorry if i am stating the obvious

Going to spend a bit more time with it today, the keys have arrived but no power from batteries to trigger.
Have got two new batteries travelling, (these were bought years ago so could be duff?)

As you say it may have been in wrong position at time but the red light comes on on charger when plugged in as for a run down battery it beeps twice, and the little yellow light behind trigger is flashing on and of

I have no instruction manual for it and am unsure where the arrow in key way should be pointing but have 50/50 of getting it right.

    Thanks for your input. John
