afternoon all.was put onto a lad from hartlepool called paul (custom air guns hartlepool) very good gunsmith by all accounts.very handy if ya got no transport (like me). he picks ya gun up (within reasnable distance) if ya got no transport, and drops it off after hes reapaired it,his prices are very reasnable,check his website out custom air guns hartlepool.just thought id let you's know incase yas looking for gunsmith in north east as theres hardly any.rob

Thanks for that Rob, I'm a little way off the 'pool but being retired I have all the time in the world to go places and it's a nice part of the NE, to me any way. To be honest, there is no one near me who specialises in air guns that I would happily trust.

Nothing yet mate but hes supposed to be red hot at tune ups and repairs,have a look at his website i think he charges 45p per mile to pick ya gun up and return it,£20 for me so ill give him a try when i need owt doing.

i've just had a daystate merlyn re sealed & he re faced the valve & seat to get it to seal properly, very reasonable charge & quick turnaround, would recommend him, the daystate was the regged x2r action btw.in fact I was so happy i tipped an extra tenner.
