Webley Hurricane long link (T35
Years ago, bought a boxed Hurricane in .177. Hardly used it, as I have one in .22 & a Tempest .177 I use for plinking.
Anyway, decided to get some use from it. It was a bit rougher than I recalled, & showed marks of being stripped at least once.
What was more worrying was the considerable wear on the underneath of the 'long link' & the T25 'fulcrum point' looks to be higher than it is on the .22 Hurri or the Tempest. Never seen wear like it despite having had Wobbleys since the '70's.
When I get some roll pin punches I'll investigate further, my current thinking is that at some stage it's been assembled incorrectly, possibly with a homemade T25, a little too tall. Anyone got any ideas or had a similar problem?
