    Theoben SLR98 .177

    Quick question, a mate is looking to sell his Theoben SLR98 Gas Ram in .177. It’s in really nice condition with an AGS scope on it and a Theoben mod. One, seven shot magazine.

    Some say these have a cult following and are well sought after, others say because Theoben went bust, spares and such are Rocking Horse Poop so stay away from them.

    Any ideas?

    One of the nicest Theoben gas rams I ever owned ! Superbly accurate but a little fussy around the magazine area due to some pellet brands fouling the mechanism.
    Can't remember what it finally preferred, may have been F&tt's in .177 Cal. ?

    AFAIK, Impact Airguns still have/make a bunch of spares for Theobens. So that wouldn't be a great concern.
