Air rifle purchase

Hi all

I am based in Jersey and require a Firearms License for an air rifle. I believe the situation is more relaxed in the UK and this is not required?

Currently looking to purchase, possibly from the UK. Is there any legislation regarding purchasing of air rifles there? Im thinking that, if not, a friend could purchase and collect until i am able to sort the relevant license / inport certificate and cone and collect in person.

Any stumbling blocks that anyone can think of?

You can have an FAC power rifle from the off as you have to have an FAC. If your friend does not have an FAC then they will be limited to a sub 12 ft lb rifle...
