Hi folks i am going on a holiday soon to York and i just wondered if anyone knows of any air rifle shooting ranges near by.

There's a few FT/HFT clubs nearby and the railway institute club, however I think you would need to be a member to shoot there. The only others I can think of is Jubilee 10m club in Fulford, that has open nights on a Tuesday, or Doncaster airgun range where you can pay daily.

As you can see they look to have changed there name also.

York guns and blue moon trading are two different business. I don't know if bmt are still going as I haven't been into York for some years now. York guns used to be on King Street but moved to Dunnington quite a few years ago (I actually preferred it when they were on King Street, even though you could only fit about 5 people in there at a time).

I was in BMT on Goodramgate last July, sure is an Alladins Cave. Went in because a friend bought a very nice Diana pistol in there at a good price, unfortunately they had no similar items, but still worth a good look around

BMT is still there afaik. I was in York about six weeks ago but chose Monday to go, when they are closed . The shop was still there and you could see items in the window.

He had a website for some time but I think that ceased a while ago.

Blue Moon in Goodramgate was open for business when I visited York in May. York Guns is a totally different business based in Dunnington.
