Champion pellets used to be sold all over the world under numerous brand names but were never of the best quality.
I remember buying a standard tin of their .177 pellets for 3.50, when proper Eley Wasps could be had for just over £1. Never felt so ripped off in my life

I think what is interesting with them is that most bb headed pellets have the bearing as the outer first contact point.
With these the bearing is set inside by the looks of the image on the tin and the lead jacket sits around it.
I j cammel I think produced champion. ,I had a look at my fireball pellets other day. They were actually quite well made and I think maybe the first bb headed pellets made ? .only a guess..

I've a tin aswell
