    big nikko

I have a big nikko mk 3 ir 2 years old but only used once a month in lea valley shoot. Overall only actually had use 19 times after replacing my Bushnell 4200 8-32x40.There seems to be lateral movement in parallex spindle showing up with a side movement on my Rowan ranging wheel of 2mm at perifary of big wheel.Everything else seems ok. Turret which would have more use, and power ring also tight and what you would expect of a new unit. Looking at several Nikko's and checking movement on parallex spindle all were tight and smooth operating .Is mine what you would expect or a friday special?

    Mike,
You have said that you looked at my scope!, mine has about 2mm sideways movement, it has made no difference to ranging as far as I can see but, it might be because I removed the O ring from the ranging turret to make it smoother to turn.
