I've seen Wagria air rifles in the past but never an air pistol.
Flogger kindly showed me a break barrel pistol at the Birmingham arms fair today, which had a wooden stock and conventional blued action / barrel. It had a neat dovetail mounted rearsight and reminded me of a budget BSF in some ways. The only markings I could see were a W on either side of the grip, which I presume stand for Wagria but I could be wrong...
I was wrong: this is a WISCHO and not a Wagria - thank you Danny for correcting this.
Is anyone familiar with such a pistol?

Yes, I am sure that Danny is right, as the Wishco branded versions of the BSFS20 ranges are not all that uncommon. It seems that BSF was happy to let their guns be rebranded and distributed by Wishco and Burgo.
Incidentally, can anyone resolve another question on this theme? More than source says that Wishco was founded by Herman Wilsker, and yet I have seen guns like the one Danny pictures which are clearly marked "Wisker & Co" along with the usual "Wishco KG". Which spelling is right?

Many thanks John for sorting the brain teaser out on the pistol, Duncan the owner who you met on the stall sends his thanks also.Near the end of show Keith from the stall as you come in also had a look and said in was a Wischo, he is also a hive of information as you know.

No problem Roly - Josie thought numbers were down too. I still saw some interesting items though and bought a lovely Jean Marck Target stocked airgun similar to one you showed me a while ago, as it also had a chequered stock. It means I'm now selling one of my other similar Jean Marcks as I can't keep them all to myself!
