For Sale: A C.1947 Boxed Webley Senior

For Sale: A fine boxed .177 Webley Senior. The pistol retains most of its original finish with minor 'box rash' and light wear in places. Screw and pin heads are generally clean and the pistol has seen little use. The action cocks and fires and the pistol is a fine performer on the range. Grips are unchipped and the correct extended barrel knurling, which was a feature of late 1939 to 1949 Seniors is present, as is the slightly higher foresight, which was another early feature.

The box is intact with a few blemishes, as can be expected with a 70 year old item but is in good overall condition. All box labels are present and legible. The background of the box has a wood chip effect, similar to that found on post 1950 Series 2 Juniors. This was a short feature, which can be dated approximately to c.1947 and is seldom seen, as the grey or black background is far more common on boxed post war Seniors. £250 F2F or can be posted at cost.

A bump for an interesting variation of the Senior and its correct box
