    Nikko Panamax 3-9x50 AO

Just ordered one of these for £69! Was going to go for a mountmaster again as i dont like Hawke's cheaper offerings and stumbled across these at virtually half price cant wait to get it and see if they're as good as the online reviews...

    Where's that from?

If it's anything like the 3-9x40ao I've got then it hopefully should be superb, I'm well impressed with mine, much better than the Hawke Panorama I recently got and even seems just as good as my Bushnell Legend.

Terrific scopes for the money and they appear to cope with the double recoil of spring guns as well.
Had one mounted on a .177 HW 95 for 18 months with no ill effect !

Getting myself a panaroma 4-12x50 AO IR for £80 plus postage . . . I'm the same tbh only used to mountmasters really and always wants a panaroma scope. Got mine second hand from the other side. Bargain as it's £180 in uttings. I'll do a review soon and a thread on how they compare to the mountmaster range.

Just bought a Panamax 6-18x50 from Uttings using their £20 off voucher.

Really impressed with the scope, much clearer (to my eyes) than the far more expensive Hawke Airmax 30 Id originally bought. Thankfully I’d been able to return the Airmax for a full refund, so £150 better off with clearer glass.

    Hope you’re happy with yours.

According to their website they are £79+p&p.

    Still a good price though.

It would appear that most if not all NS scopes have gone up in this past week, was looking at a simple Mountmaster 4x32 fixed objective for a project which was £18'ish and it's now £37'ish, that's nigh on 100%, so I got the Hawke equivalent for £35, must be brexit lol!

Back on topic, I have the 3-9x40 and it's superb.

I've just noticed the panaroma scope I've ordered is the Hawke version 4-12x50 AO IR . . . I didn't even know nikko do a panaroma range tbh. I shall do a review of it for the forum . . . It will also be good to compare this to the nikko one you have mate. . . It will give the members a good overview of all the extreme view scopes for this price

I've got both (panamax and panorama) and the panamax is far better, the panorama seems a bit brighter but the panamax has better definition and clearer.
