My first entry into air guns, they were 17/6p new (1948)but I gave 10/- for it.
Went back to the catapult after a week, next purchase was a mk11 service and that was my introduction to air rifles. Happy days

I am surprised that they were that expensive. I would have thought that you could have got a Webley for that sort of money! Jenny

We used to drool in front of the bike shop window on our way to school.
Gats and milbro where on display along with cat slugs and beatall,
Later on the Diana made by Milbro by which time I had a mk4 lee Enfield to play with. Happy days

    Air pistol? No air involved!

Hi all, these are a real fun gun.
I found that wrapping a substantial amount of lead round the fixed part of the barrel made them quite a pleasure to shoot, trigger pull not withstanding!
