    Hello from new member

Just a quick hello. 50 year old lapsed airgun enthusiast.

Getting back into airguns after 30 years away, looking forward to joining in with the forum.

Picked up a new (secondhand) rifle sunday, which I'll probably need help in finding/making parts for.

    Anyway,all the best

    Stan

Welcome back to Air gunning Stan What rifle have you ‘picked up’ ? You’re in the right place to ask questions if you do need any advice in doing it up.

You can always catch me around The Quigley Hollow Fire around 5am Les

Which is a good intro to The Boinger Bash near Nuneaton Stan. IF you can get youself over there in September, you will love it, so many like-minded and friendly Airgun folk you could ever wish to meet.

    Have look here Stan:

    Thanks for the welcome

The Rifle is an Original mod 45 in .177 Cal,with a few problems.

As to the boinger bash, that looks like a lot of fun.

Only got a hw90 and the 45 so not much to bring along.I'll have to see if I can get friday night off(night worker). Be great to catch up on modern springer tuning .

    Welcome to the forum Stan.

Bring what you can to the Bash mate, the Original 45 is a fine gun, and we don't see many of them at the Bash. It's one of the guns that I wish I had bought years ago, but we don't see many come up for sale very often these days.

The Boinger Bash is a great event for socialising, catching up with folk, and sometimes doing some shooting

Hi Stan. I think you would absolutely LOVE IT at The Bash.

Even if you didn't have a gun you'd still be up for a great time......lots of friendly and knowledgeable people (plus The Cult) to talk to and lots of guns to sample - classic, vintage, modern, tuned etc etc and all powerplants are welcome too.

But you have two very interesting guns there anyway and The Bash certainly isn't a boasting match about who has what and how many, blah, blah, blah......just a bunch of friendly, like-minded enthusiasts.

Feel free to fire away with any questions you may have regarding help with your 45. I haven't worked on one myself but plenty on here have done and you'll soon have the questions to answers and maybe help with parts too.

    See you at Quigley Hollow.
