I think that's right.
But weight is just a check.
There is no way you can squirt in 53 gm in a measured way.
Fill it and it will stop filling when pressure equalizes.
Hopefully it will work but if not check weight and vent as Baz says.
Thank you folks, great group this is.
Thanks for your help folks.
I dont think it'll stop filling. CO2 doesnt fill by pressure it fills by weight.
It starts filling from 1 cilinder to the other because of temperature difference. (because you had yr cilinder in the freezer).
If there's a lot of temperature difference, it'll fill up fast(er). If there's too little difference, you wont get a complete fill.
You can easily overfill bulk CO2. But it shouldnt break yr Orings like pcp does. It'll be loud and inconsistent.
Just leave cilinder on few seconds with crane open. Than check weight.
When there's 53 grams in it, or near that, yr done.

Did you ever work out how to correctly fill your CP2?
I'm about to buy a CP3 and need some advice on filling with co2 from a fire extinguisher.
Sorry to drag up an old post.
All info you need is in this post
