    Thanks Rob
According to my scribbles the NoS (allegedly) spring 337 mm New 324 scragged, 20.8 mm OD, 2.8 mm wire, 40.5 total coils, 22 lb.f/inch rate
    Pre load 115 mm Output 10.5 ft.lb. in .177

    Also T W Chambers standard spring 325 mm x 21 mm x 3 mm wire, 41 coils, 20 lb.f/inch rate
    Pre load 116 mm output 11 ft.lb. in .22

Additional note Titan 1 makes the power "too easily" so would trim down giving little pre load and stiffer spring (40 lb.f/inch rate)

    May be of interest
P.S. the Chambers spring/seal deal is a bargain to me.

    Cheers for that.
The spring that came in it was making a very smooth 10.5 and thinner wire (3mm) than the Chambers one. The one I've ordered has an ID that will fit the guide and is only 265 free length.
I may also experiment with the original spring and cut it shorter. I'm sure it was slightly over sprung.
I'll be avoiding titan at the minute as a) i don't like them and b) i cant find one with a suitable id.
