Just before I threw it away, I thought it might be handy for a few spares and sent it to Richard H, to break up. He said he didn't want it and sent it back like this, said it was a lost cause and would not put his name to it. Congratulations to Richard for an incredible transformation. Now would the collector purists say that you have destroyed the originality of the piece by refinishing it, and it should have been left alone?
