Let all the air out my S400 :-(

    Hi Guys,

I finally got fed up with the awkward AA brass T filler and bought a 'normal' push on valve.

I let the gun run down of air and replaced the valve.

Now I can't get the gun filled with air, it just bleeds out the barrel :-(

Does anybody know how I can get the internal valve shut so the gun will fill?

    Thanks.

Try it with the hammer cocked instead of resting on the valve?

    He he,

    FIXED :-)

I read up on Google, you just need to cock the gun and then fill to 190 bar (normal pressure)

Hope that may help others one day ld grin:

    P.S,
Sorry Lightning22, didn't see your reply. You are correct

I'm not known for my PCP smarts, but have you tried cocking the hammer before trying to fill it ?

And make sure to bring that pesky PCP to The Bash.

Make sure it's empty of air, DON'T cock the hammer and spend a few hours chortling away to yourself at Chris, Baldinio, trying to charge it with his pump!

Pumping really ain’t so bad Tone, it’s all in the rhythm and upper body strength.

Although far from being a PCP expert, I thought the pumps with the moisture trap didgery doo were meant to be fine?

And you're so right with that lovely self-contained TX.....no running out of air, no pumping, no high pressure bottles, no shot count and power curve to worry about. These are the things that most put me off a PCP; the characterless firing cycle I could live with......just make the targets smaller and harder to make for more of a challenge. Oh, and yes, the TX is so beautifully simple to work on.

Great to hear that young Alisha's getting excited over the pistol. Excellent!

Not only excited about the pistol at the bash, she's counting down the days to become a full member of Tondu! She's already trying to work out what to put in for on her FAC application

the problem with a stirrup pump is that each stroke produces one bar and you want one eighty bars to fill a rifle
