I aslo think .20 makes a lot of sense for springers, espcially hunting...
- for a given power, .20 is more efficient than .177, so you get less recoil
- less recoil = easier to shoot accurately / less hold sensitivity
- field conditions with a springer you are looking at 35 yeards max rally, maybe 40 at a push - over these ranges, the trajectory difference between .20 and .177 is nothing
- .20 will make a bigger hole and carry about the same energy
- less fiddly to load with cold fingers
