daystate wolverine with the hi-lite bottle and this is from some one with a wrecked shoulder and back. Three ops on the left shoulder so being a right handed shooter is a pain quite literally and steroid injections in the spine. So if the weight restriction is the issue then i would certainly know. Mine is 40ftlb and get about 70 shots from a fill of 210 bar. Oh! and stupid accurate, i know this as i have the video to show the range at 60 mtrs and the shots on target.

    .25 Impact money mate.
I use one for pesting around golf courses and farmland on foot. Shooting 34grain heavies at 52ftlb.
I fancied one of the Daystate bottle rifles until I shouldered one, I couldn’t see the end of the barrel it was that long

For a Lightweight rifle I would opt for a Daystate Huntsman at 30ftlb, or get a carbon bottle fitted to your Ranger, it cuts the weight, perfects the balance and will save a one for one variation on your FAC.

If you need light weight FAC then any .22 rimfire will be featherweight compared to air rifles.

It's not just about outright weight either, balance matters.
a rifle with a fwd bottle & long barrel will feel heavier than a bullpup or bottle-stock like a Verminator

The wolverine has amazing balance which makes it feel a lot lighter than it is.

if you are spending that sort of money. Has to be a fx impact. Nothing comes close. Just changed myself from a fac air ranger to a fac impact.

The crown is lighter and all most the same gun as a impact . Impact is a fantastic gun in .25 but like I said the crown is lighter and cant wait for mine to come

Zbroia Hortista if rifle or Kozak if bullpup.

300 bar working pressure mechanism, superb shotcount, very accurate.

An Evanix Rex in .45 gives you over 200 ft/lb in a 5 1/2lb gun for a shade over £750. It's a whole heap of fun and accurate too.

A rimmy would be much cheaper to buy and run so more sensible.

    Who wants sensible?
