UKAHFT Round 9 Bisley. Camping Rules and Info.

Here are the rules and some info for UKAHFT Round 9 at Bisley.

    Word document here.

    Plain text here.

The word document should give you the option to open or save to your own computer.

Tawd will be a tough act to follow but we'll try.

Oh Dear! so I take it Realtree is not allowed either then? the only waterproof jacket I have for shooting in, I suppose I'll have to buy yet another jacket just for Bisley

I beginning to feel I won't bother coming now

If you read it again more or less its just says if you want to go wondering, cammo not banned for the shooting.

    Pete

"As some of you will know the NRA have a rule that says that only members of HM Forces should wear camo on Bisley Camp, there will NOT be a problem wearing camo on BFTO ranges, however, if you intend to use the pub, café, or explore the rest of the camp please bear that in mind. Remember, if you get pulled up on it neither the BFTO nor the UKAHFT will have any say in the matter."

Well done Nev, first reply and another pile of crap.

Read the thing, it says there will not be a problem on the BFTO ranges. Mind you, if that's your attitude maybe it's best if you don't bother.

Yes, I have got an attitude against clubs who don't put this sort of crap up front when applying to host a round in the first place.

Don't think your the only club that have done this this year, but IMO these small points should be put down on applications so it's clear what shoots people feel they want to attend, a little too late once every round is pre-booked and the host starts up a thread like this at the last minute!

    Come on mate

It's a lot less traumatic saying you can't walk around the campsite dressed in Army uniform than saying you can't even bring your dogs on site in the car a la Tawd.

What problem ? Just take a spare jacket and shoot in your cammo.

    It's no big deal.

UKAHFT were made aware of the no dog rule at Tawd before the hosting rounds were published. A number of posts were made on several forums months ago.

God I hate playing peacemaker - my spoon burns my palms.

Look at it another way Dave.
Cammo is allowed. 100%. Yup. Wear whatever you like. The campsite boundary and the shoot are what Bisley offered. Same as tawd, Quarry, Lincoln and the rest.

Bisley are GIVING you something extra - permission to wander round a whole new area. All they ask is that you don't wear cammo.

That wasn't aimed at TV Dave I knew about that a long time before. Elliot's not going to Bisley as I'm in a billet there
