    Zeiler scope valuation please

Not sure of a value for this... I have a very nice shiny gloss back jap Zeiler, with the classic xmas tree ret, front PX, *edit 6-24 x44 * Comes with the original screw in lens caps.

I've been saving it for a classic 80s PCP (GC2 or Shamal), but realistically it's not going to get used, and I have over 20 spare scopes (yes, another clearout is looming).

I was thinking around a ton, but there are so few sold it's hard to value ?

Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

    Hi Jon

nice try - you ain't going to buy it for 80's prices But it is interesting looking at the old ads... they look like the slighly more modern versions though.

    Scope

    They did two FT scopes. 6-24 x 44 and the 8-32 x 44. Depending on condition I've seen the 8-32 x 44 go for £170. A good classic FT scope. Mach 1.5

Damn, was going to offer you a tube of Spangles, a copy of Razzle and a fun size Marathon but I suppose you're going to say they are old hat too!

I too have the 6 - 24 x 44 which is currently on a Daystate 2000. I paid £100 for it from a gun shop a couple of years ago.
The 8 - 32 x 44 is the rare one which I would think could fetch around the £150 to £200 mark.

    I've got a mint 6-24x40 that I paid £100 for & an 8-32x40 that I paid £150 for.

I would say £100 is still about right for the one yo have.

I have info ready on the Zeiler's & other Air Arms branded/distributed scope so will be adding a scopes page to the Airarmsanorak site in the near future.

I’ve got a few of these, excellent scopes and the 6-24 on my Venom 80 is just about perfect
