Like most items, you can advertise at a high price but are they selling for that price? Mach 1.5

Theoben's are extremely well made. Expectations are they should shoot easy too, but at the end of the day they are just a gasram springer with all the issues of a piston powered air push system. 1/2 as forgiving, but not PCP perfect.
The Rapid 7 PCP part I don't know about, others who do can chip in here.

Going up in value? They were never cheap to start with. Think they are just holding their own. No more are going to be made thats for sure. No one is going to build to that standard again. Well only through superior manufacturing techniques and then its more about margins and target markets.

Enjoy them for what they are. I've always though them good value. But not because they are a better or best mousetrap.
The hw90 does not have the record trigger. They made a trigger to fit the hw90 called the elite. Thats why a record unit will not work on the hw90.ť

You are right its the elite trigger. The record will not work on the 90.

I just bought a lovely walnut stocked Evolution, stuck a Japanese built Bushnell on it AND it is a shooter! Lovely one hole at 25 yards, I did buy it to resell, but now it's mine lol.

Like most things if you wait long enough they will increase in value.
