    Cometa orion under powered

Attempting to adjust the power on a cometa orion for someone.
To be honest I'm not sure why as it's not my fortè.
    However it seems quite simple.
    It was at around 8ftlb.
I slackened the locking screw (Allen key through the bolt) and wound what I believe is the adjuster in fully. I now have near 10ftlb. But that's it. I can't get any more and even being cautions and trying for 11ftlb I'm stuck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards

    Edd

This review says 10.2 ftlbs was the the average https://www.bisley-uk.com/index.php?...ewCometaOrion&

Other sales ads are saying 11.5ftlbs is their power.

MYBE issues some where else in the system.

Equally that might be all your choice of pellet will give.

Tried a couple of different pellets and go similar results.
Just bumped into an engineer friend who might make me a longer adjuster screw which in theory would give me more adjustment?
Seems to me that the screw just needs to go in further?
    Is it really that simple?

I see this is an old thread but how did you get on? I have a Orion bullpup that's down to 8ftlb but even with a longer screw it just stops the bolt from cocking the gun?
Guns and boats .... works for me
