Hw99 barrel on hw80

Does anyone know if a hw99 barrel will work on a hw80? I know that the pivot hole is further back on the breech block but I'm not sure if it will cause a issue?

No - it will not fit.
Never ever.

Barrels are interchangeable between HW80,90,95,98 and IMHO 85 too.

Okay have you tried? As I've seen a 99s with a hw80 barrel on it, the only thing needed was the stock inletting a little and a modification to the cocking leaver but as the 80 dosent have a articulated cocking leaver and has more stock room I thought it may work.

Yep tried it even with a modded underleaver the breech block just hits the stock mounts thanks

Probably doesn’t help but I know a 95 barrel fits on an 80.

Cheers bud yep I've had a 80 barrel on a 95, I did try the 99 barrel on the 80 but it was not to be without modding the rifle stock brackets.
