    Daystate Tzar - Dust Plug

anyone have a clue if one exists or is any others compatible?

i really dont like the idea of shooting in the winter without the tank being protected..

i was 1/2 debating seeing if i could get some 3d printed.. but not liking the risk of any material getting stuck or breaking off..

I don't know of any. One of our club members spent ages looking; in the end I turned one for him in delrin.

Is it the same size as the BSA, if so then Best fittings do one <here>

I can do a measure later if you want.

It's quite a small filler as well , I spoke to Best Fittings and as yet they don't make one for the Tsar ..
I find the filler plug to be fiddly to fit , I asked them about the possibility of making one a little longer so it would be easier to keep clean when connecting/disconnecting .

I've 3D printed one in rubber - it also has a fitting for a rubber windicator arm to fit into it - I called it the "Bendicator"
as it's rubber it won't get stuck or break off ever (it probably wouldn't if it wasn't rubber either, 3D printed stuff is pretty tough if someone who knows what they're doing prints it for you).

Sure - buzz me over your address in a PM and I'll send one out to you
Is your fill hole horizontal? I mean does it run from 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock?

Here's one on my rifle (not a Tsar) with a bendicator fitted, it's made of 90 shore rubber, so it's quite hard.
