Falcon Raptor mag issues

Hi all,

Have a Falcon Raptor came with 4 plastic mags one metal,all have intermittent feed issues,using FTT pellets,any heads up on how to tune it up,thanks in advance Greg

Sounds like the indexing pawl is out of alignment.
I found on mine the metal mags are a fraction different to index than the plastic ones, it's very hard to get one rifle to use both happily.

You need to loosen the grub screw holding the pawl in place and close the bolt on a mag then re-tighten the screw to set the index alignment.
There's a small margin for error and i found if you want to use metal & plastic mags there's almost no margin for error if you want the both to work smoothly.

Trial and error; and a frustrating evening job ahead!

Hi thanks for reply,with the mags unloaded it operates no problem,however with loaded mags I sometimes get the jam.I will try adjusting as per your advice,many thanks Greg
