A series 2 Mk2 Service with two barrels in a box, all in great condition? If not refinished I'd guess £1200-£1500? Less if refinished.

    Hi Sam,

Is the finish original and does the .22 barrel match the action?

If they do and the spare barrel is a genuine Webley one, probably £1200. I know it's harsh and others may well disagree but if the rifle has been refinished, my personal valuation would be £0.00 on the basis that refinishing takes away an item's history and would not be of any interest to many collectors.

Edit, Josie has just looked at the pics and again, if original, Josie reckons a boxed 2nd Series has to be worth £2000.

    Hi Sam,

Is the lateral peep sight adjusting wheel original? It looks longer and thinner than ones I have seen.

    Also, is the stock original?

All have a bearing on price, so I hope you can bear with my questions.
